Another month, another book deal
My one and only sci-fi is just 99 cents this weekend only!
It’s far harder than I thought it would be, retiring a pen name. Well the actual not writing any more books part is easy enough; I’m still writing, just preparing to pitch books under my real name. Not under Kelly Dawson. But actually forgetting that those books I wrote exist, now that’s impossible. Because I wrote those characters, I invented them, they took up so much of my brain space for years, they became my friends. Does that make me sound like a nutter? Considering fictional characters to be friends? I guess it’s the adult equivalent of childhood imaginary friends LOL. And I can’t let them go. Will I ever be able to? Only time will tell.
Meanwhile, my one-and-only sci-fi is currently on sale for just 99 cents all weekend, for readers in the USA (sorry to my readers elsewhere, Amazon limits the markets I can have the sale, not me) and you can grab your copy here!
If you’ve been following me for ages, you’ll probably know that when this book was originally published, it was my best-ever seller. It was ranking really well on Amazon. People were loving it! And then, for some reason, Amazon threw the book in “the dungeon” (I have no idea what the official term for it is, but it means the book isn’t searchable) and sales crashed. I was gutted. Sales never recovered. It’s my darkest, harshest book, with non-con medical play, and some reviews have called it abusive. So be warned! It’s not like my other books, really, although I reckon you will grow to love Damian. I did. It’s also in KU, so you can read it risk-free.
As well as my sci-fi being on sale, I’m giving away another book this month! But I can’t decide which one to do. Vote for your choice :)
My good friend Maggie Carpenter has a new book out! I love Maggie. As well as being a great author (her cowboy romances are my favourite) she’s the loveliest lady who took me under her wing some years ago when I was a baby author, and she helped me so much. I think I’ve read nearly every book of hers, they’re that good! You can grab your copy right here.
I might have stopped writing steamy books, but I certainly haven’t stopped reading them! This one by Bella Redbottom is a spanko’s dream! I’ve read a couple in this series and they definitely got me all hot and bothered. If you want to get all hot and bothered too, check it out! Spoiler alert: it’s got electric shocks. Even though most of my books are set on farms, where they probably have access to electric cattle prods, I’ve never ever thought of including that kind of thing in any of my books. But I liked it! (Well I liked reading about it. I don’t think I’d be a big fan in real life).
