I’ve got something new for you!
September in the southern hemisphere means spring. And down here in Southern New Zealand, our weather has been absolutely beautiful for the past couple of weeks - sunshine, warm, a gentle breeze. A bit of rain (or a lot of rain, depending where you live). Perfect weather for the gorgeous little lambs bouncing about all over the place :) But today we’ve got snow. Lots of snow. And what perfect timing! I’ve just re-released Kiwi Daddy (it was part of the International Daddies anthology) which is set in Heathrow Airport during a snowstorm that grounds the planes. So as I sit in my lounge with my laptop on my lap, a caramel latte beside me, and snow falling outside, it’s so easy to imagine Lani’s frustration at being stuck as she’s desperately trying to get home to New Zealand after stealing her dodgy employers expensive jewels, and rugby player Jimmy coming to her rescue, carrying her away before she causes even more of a scene and comes to the attention of the armed police everywhere.
This is a short (20k words) insta-love romance featuring two Kiwi characters trying to get home from the other side of the world - a young, frightened woman and a big, tattooed, Maori rugby player who demands she call him Daddy. And of course, just like all my books, this one is sweet but contains spice, lots of emotional depth, angst and spankings. It’s also available everywhere online (and in some libraries/subscription services including Kobo Plus) in ebook and paperback.
Nearly every reviewer on Goodreads said in reviews for International Daddies that they would love to see more of Lani and Jimmy. So please let me know what you think! Do you want a sequel? An entire book dedicated to Jimmy and Lani and how they’re getting on back home in New Zealand? How about a bonus epilogue scene, right here in this newsletter (which will obviously be quicker than a book but probably far less satisfying)? What do you want to read?
And while I’m asking you questions about what you want to read….. how about in my Trail Drive series, The Ways of the West and The Code of the West? I’m currently working on two future books: Davey’s story, and a prequel featuring Mr Jordan years ago - where it all began. Plus I have an idea for Woody’s story. Who do you want to find love first? My neurodiverse brain has so many ideas and very little organisation, so if you can help me to prioritise by commenting/replying with what you want me to write next would help me immensely!
I look forward to your replies :)
