I’m so excited to have an exclusive cover image on this book - the models are Kevin and Emilie and Christopher John was the photographer. And my awesome cover designer is in Ukraine - as you can see, the cover has turned out great! The story is pretty great, too :) (side note: I changed the hero’s name from the short story - I’ve already got a Jeremy in a novel, so I changed the Jeremy in this one to Carl.)
Allie Wilson swore she’d never go back to Heartbreak Creek. She’s made a life for herself in the city, and the small New Zealand town she grew up in holds too many memories she’d rather leave in the past. But when her mother’s illness pulls her home for one last Christmas, she knows she can’t refuse.
She returns home just in time for the town’s annual Christmas picnic where she’s reunited with Carl Henderson – now the local cop, and her biggest childhood crush. His warm gaze and flirtatious grin make it clear that he remembers her, too… and this time, the chemistry between them is undeniable.
As the summer heat and the holiday spirit fills the town, Allie finds herself caught between her life back in the city and the possibility of a future she never dreamed of in Heartbreak Creek.
